Xanadu – Southwark Playhouse

“A place where nobody dared to go”

Actually it’s the Southwark Playhouse continuing to deliver with another in its run of forgotten musical gems.
Perfect campy fun; great production values and excellent central performances all round.

As productions go, the Subtitled Friends really had a wonderful evening.

As Patron Wong said, Suddenly, it’s Magic. And it really was.

This deserves to hit the West End.

You beat me to it!! But I cannot agree with you more, Bazza, it was a great show. 4.5 out of 5 stars if I have to grade it.

This was Pure Entertainment on a miserable weekend when the world has gone mad and in disarray, this is the tonic and brought some much needed laughter and joy back in our lives.

Embracing the crappiness of the original movie in the most loving way, this is a hit for me and everyone who went to see it with us.
